French website Nowhere Else has published a series of pictures purporting to show the design of Apple’s much-rumored iPad mini, the supposed 7.85-inch successor to the company’s popular iPad. Like the detailed iPhone 5 mockup that we saw at IFA, this unit appears to be some sort of model put together based on existing rumors, with the display in particular looking distinctly non-functional. As Nowhere Else points out, the device’s ports and buttons line up with holes seen in a number of leaked accessories, but this in itself is no guarantee of accuracy.

According to Bloomberg’s most recent report, the device is slated for release in October of this year.
