Micron’s DRAM revenue increased 343 percent over the past year.

The chip company said it pulled in a record $39.8 billion in quarterly revenue from DRAM, which has been in short supply. Micron also reported record quarterly revenue for its data center business at $18 billion, up from $1.57 billion in the same quarter last year. Its quarterly NAND revenue also shot up 526 percent to $14.1 billion.

Google’s ‘skills’ replacement for Gems is available in Gemini chats starting today.

The reusable, custom instructions for Gemini are also rolling out to Workspace users starting October 5th and in the Gemini app starting October 13th. Google’s shutting down Gems starting in November for individual users, and as early as March 1st, 2027 for Workspace users.

Tinder’s Group Hangouts feature lets you date with your whole friend group.

You can invite two or more friends to your group and match with other friend groups based on your interests, which starts a new group chat. Group Hangouts are rolling out starting today in the US. Bloomberg says Tinder’s also working on a “group planning tool” to help groups set up in-person gatherings.

Amazon vehicles in NYC got over 14,000 traffic and parking citations from 2020 to 2025.

Its delivery vehicles were cited for over a dozen violations, including double parking, speeding in school zones, blocking bus and bike lanes, and more, according to a report from ALIGN. During the same five year period, Amazon vehicles also got 13,029 reports for idling too long.

TikTok Shop is getting label-free returns through UPS.

You’ll be able to return stuff you bought on TikTok by dropping it off at one of UPS’s Happy Returns locations, without a box or printed shipping label, similar to Amazon’s label-free returns. Reuters reports UPS is offering the no-box, no-label returns in an “exclusive deal” with TikTok.

SwitchBot launched new Matter-compatible light bars that cost less than $50.

It says users can link the RGBICWW Light Bars with compatible AI agents to sync with light cues, like a breathing effect when the AI is thinking. The light bars also have a built-in microphone that detects ambient sound for “music-reactive effects,” 12 independently-controllable color zones, 26 preset effects, adjustable color temperature, dimming, and built-in mounting magnets.
